    The new European project the Democracy Study Centre started in Kyiv on the 31st of October. The project began with the official opening of the multipurpose playground, which was built with the financial support of Prince Stefan of Liechtenstein.   2. HANS FLEISCH VISITED THE CENRE FOR CHILDREN IN NEED ‘’OUR KIDS’’

    German lawyer and specialist in financing, former General Secretary of the Federal Association of German funds and general manager of the German charity Academy, Mr. Fleisch, visited "Our Kids" Centre on Monday. During his visit Mr. Fleisch talked to our children. He was impressed by their knowledge of English as well as by their hospitality. It was a very pleasant visit and our centre hopes to host more open and friendly people like Mr. Fleisch. We are grateful for his support!

  3. Centre "Our Kids" was visited by Johannes Regenbrecht

    On September 4, Johannes Regenbrecht, Head of the German Foreign Ministry’s Task Force to Ukraine, visited our Centre. Mr. Regenbrecht showed his interest in the Centre’s work and stated that it is a great example of how the EU can provide help for Ukraine. Here at the Centre, every child lives in a family and is surrounded by a friendly environment, where all of the children’s rights are protected. That kind of experience is worthy of praise and can encourage the implementation of other European structures and methods in the field of children’s rights protection in Ukraine.

  4. New kids in our Centre

    Once again our Centre opens its doors for children from the ATO zone. We welcome sisters Alyona (9 years) and Luda (13 years), as well as Diana (12 years). Girls came to us from Mariupol, Donetsk region. They are fun, smart and quickly befriended the other kids. They really like music, dances and sport. We wish them to find good friends and feel welcomed and comfortable!

  5. Today we have lots of news here at the Centre!

    Today we have lots of news here at the Centre! Firstly, we sent off our volunteers from Germany – Paul and Georg. There were with us for the whole year and we are very grateful for their help. We wish them the best of luck and new successes! Secondly, we met new volunteers – Charlotte and Alyosha. We hope to have interesting and fruitful work together. And, lastly, we also welcomed new volunteers from AISEC Kyiv. Together with Oussama, Burcu, Nada, Emna, Simona and Nada our kids will improve their knowledge of English, they will have interesting lessons, educational games and new experiences. We are happy to greet new people from all over the world and they are always welcome!

  6. Homecoming of the children from summer holidays

    This week, inspired by new impressions and filled with energy, 17 kids came back from “Zatoka” sanatorium in Odessa, where they had unforgettable summer vacation by the sea. 7 children returned from California (USA) and 2 from Texas (USA) where they lived in families, traveled and learned the language. Along with the kids laughter and fun returned to the Centre!
