Ukraine in my heart

Quiz day at the Centre Our Kids took place in the game room where caregivers Iryna Siromakha and Yulia Pchelyanska prepared a wide variety of questions. Two teams competed in various categories including singing Ukrainian folkloric songs, knowledge of old sayings and customs as well as questions on local herbs and plants. Games involving physical agility were very popular.  

The idea behind quiz day was to help the kids develop a sense of identity through the appreciation of tradition and culture in a playful atmosphere that would also help them nurture teamwork skills. And what a success it was!
