Our "Telbin Riders" Won Their First Cup!

The senior team from our Centre’s "Telbin Riders" successfully debuted at the roller hockey open tournament in Lutsk. Despite many a poor start, our team always managed to catch up with the rival team and go on to win their matches. They beat the “Spartak Extreme” to reach the final, a tense, exciting game in which they were victorious against the host team, “Rockets”. The two foster children, Sasha (16) and Serhii (18), who both scored four goals, were the pride of our team and our coach, Vasyl Vasylenko, was undoubtedly the star of the whole tournament.

With the cup as the reward for all our hard work, we hope to continue to develop our skills, attract more players to the game and perhaps one day even take part in international tournaments or the World Games in 2017. Our Centre pioneers the roller hockey which is only just becoming an official sport in Ukraine.
