On April, 18 our family educators visited a special training for foster parents and educators. The training was conducted in the framework of "Say No to Orphanhood!" programme. During the training, the coordinator of psychological services was answering various questions about parenting. The psychologist shared techniques of stress management and anger management. She described the interdependence of emotions between parents and children and she talked about the relationship between children's mental and physical development. There were discussions on how to respond to the emotions of children, how to learn to cope with negative emotions and what to do to avoid stress. There were also practical tasks and exercises, during which all participants were having a lot of fun. So by the end of the day, all participants were filled with a mass of positive emotions and new information for personal development.
