MEETING WITH CARITAS KYIV

On 18 March, 2015, a meeting took place at the "Our Kids" Centre with one of our partners in the project entitled ‘Social Area Analysis and Mobile Youth Work,’ the Caritas Kyiv organisation. Caritas Kyiv representatives Zoriana Lukavetska and Iryna Pukhniak accompanied by German assessment expert Dorsi Germann learnt more about the activities of our organisation and were pleasantly impressed with the scope of services provided by the "Our Kids" Centre and the novelty and relevance of the projects implemented by the Structural Subdivision of the German-Polish-Ukrainian Society in Ukraine. For their own part, Caritas Kyiv has since 2010 also been implementing a project entitled ‘Mobile Youth Work in Ukraine’ which aims to facilitate re-integration and social adaptation of children and youths facing vulnerabilities, prevent child, adolescent and youth homelessness, and provide support to families in crisis.

Following the meeting, we discussed potential areas for further co-operation between our organisations under the project ‘Social Area Analysis and Mobile Youth Work .’
