Territorial community of Kyiv will financially support the Centre "Our Kids"

Centre for Children in Need "Our Kids" will receive financial support from the city of Kyiv. It was announced today, after a decision by the Kyiv City Council.

According to the city target program "Social Partnership" budgetary funds for the years 2016-2018 for the land rent and utilities payments will be allocated. The Centre has already received funding from 2010 to 2014, but after a period of change financial support for the Centre was no longer given.

This decision will assure a stable financial support for the Centre during the next  three years. We will be able to support our children’s interests and needs which lived under difficult circumstances in the Dnipro district of Kyiv.

On behalf of the entire team and the children of the Centre we would like to express gratitude for the support and assistance to Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, his deputy Anna Starostenko, members of Kyiv City Council Andriy Strannikov, Yuri Kulikov, Yulia Loban, chief of the Service for Children and Family Affairs Valeriy Tantsiura, members of the Kyiv City Council Commissions on budget and socio-economic development and on health and social protection.

The program "Social Partnership" is aimed at the development of the social partnership between the executive body of the Kyiv City Council and NGOs whose activities are socially oriented. At the previous meeting, including on our initiative, it was decided to increase the total funding of the program to 3.9 mln UAH.
